THE PRODUCTS OF BIZFINANCE PLC
BIZFINANCE PLC offers a range of banking products divided in to two main categories:
1. The traditional banking products offered by most micro - financial institutions and banks such as savings accounts, deposit accounts, current accounts, etc.
2. Other products instituted by BIZFINANCE PLC such as money transfers, school fee transfers, etc.

1) THE TRADITIONAL BANKING PRODUCTS

BIZFINANCE PLC offers products generally accepted by standard banking practices and prescriptions. However, because of our market- oriented approach, these traditional banking products have been pruned to suit both the needs of our clientele and our business objectives of community development and adequate income for sustainable growth. These products include: THE SAVINGS ACCOUNTThis account is generally recommended for those who have funds but do not have immediate use for them or those who intend to keep money somewhere for precautionary and speculative reasons. Account owners benefit from credit interests on these accounts bi - annually; in June and in December. Individuals, associations and other social groups can use this account as an external source of income or to back up a facility given to them by Community Credit LLC.Placements (term deposits) can be made over this account and owners exceptionally given the opportunity to negotiate the interest rate on the amount blocked. This product has the following other characteristics:
Owners can benefit from a soft loan of up to FCFA 500 000
It can serve as an initial capital in the creation of a new business
It can be used in the settlement of bills
The account owner is given a passbook which bear his/her photograph and that of any bearer of power of attorney
Opening requirements FOR INDIVIDUALS

Copy of National Identity Card or other recognised identification papers
Minimum amount of FCFA 10 000 (or its equivalent in any other currency)
Registration fee of FCFA 3 000 (or its equivalent in any other currency) FOR ASSOCIATIONS AND SOCIAL GROUPS
Two passport size photographs from each signatory in the case where there are more than one signatory.
Copy of National Identity Card from each signatory in the case where there are more than one signatory.
A letter designating the signatory or signatories to the account, signed by authorised officials
The constitution of the association or Social group
The minutes of the meeting electing the current Executive members into office

2) THE CURRENT ACCOUNTThis account is mostly recommended for business and potential businessmen and units. It attracts a fixed monthly account handling charge of FCFA 1500. A personal cheque booklet of 25 leaflets is also available to the account owner at FCFA 2000. This account has the following other characteristics:
It can be overdrawn; in a case where there is no provision in the account, an account owner can still pass a cheque over the account. Thus, account owners are given the opportunity to benefit from punctual overdrafts, lines of credit and revolving overdraft facilities.
It has no withdrawal restrictions: so long as there is money in this account, owners can make as many withdrawals as they may find necessary from the account.
Third party cheques can be issued: account owners do not need to be at the counter to make withdrawals from their accounts at all time. Cheques can be drawn to the order of a third party for money to be disbursed.
Loans are granted over this account: A loan of up to 03 times the customer's credit balance can be granted over this account. After at least three months from the account opening date and in doing business with us, a current account owner may apply for;
A soft loan (a loan up to FCFA 500 000)
An equipment loan for household equipment
A utility loan during festive periods of the year like Easter, Christmas, etc.
A short- term loan repayable within a maximum period of 24 months or
A back- to- school loan with a month of grace before repayment

3) THE CURRENT SALARY ACCOUNTThis account is recommended for fixed income earners or those who have a regular monthly flow of income Dom ciliated with Community Credit LLC. It is mostly recommended for state employees and company workers who are not yet affiliated to other banks/ institutions or who intend to leave from other banks/financial institutions for various reasons. This account has the following characteristics;
It attracts a monthly charge of F CFA 2000 for all state employees
It attracts a salary transfer handling charge of F CFA 10 000 payable once by all state employees
It attracts a monthly charge of between F CFA 1 000 and 1 500 for all company workers
It can be overdrawn: salary advances/ punctual overdrafts are granted to the owners of these accounts at very affordable rates irrespective of the period within the month.
Account owners can benefit from short-term facilities after three months of receiving their salaries through Community Credit LLC. Major loans granted over this account include; Back - to - school loans, House equipment loans, utility loans during festive periods within the year and soft loans of up to F CFA 500 000.
There is no initial deposit required. Opening balance is fixed at zero

4) OTHER ACCOUNTS OFFERED BY COMMUNITY CREDIT LLC INSURED ACCOUNTSThis is a special account covered by a special insurance policy. This policy is renewable yearly and account owners can go in for an insurance cover of up to FCFA 5 000 000. Any individual between 0 and 59 years of age is eligible for such an account.

SCHOOL FEE ACCOUNTSThis is a special account recommended for parents to prepare for the schooling of their children. There is a special loan facility attached to this account once every year and parents are given a month of grace before repayment. The ceiling of such facilities is determined each year when the facility is launched.

FARMERS ACCOUNTSthis is a special account designed exclusively for farmers to enable them realise certain agricultural projects and to also encourage agricultural and rural development. Farmers or account owners can benefit from short - term facilities repayable within a maximum period of 24 months. Every application for a facility after at least three months of banking activities with Community Credit LLC must be accompanied by a detailed analysis of the project to be financed. The Department in charge of agricultural projects at Community Credit LLC shall proceed to studying this project and decide on what method of financing to employ based on the feasibility of the project. Account owners shall be required to apply for personal cheque booklets for withdrawals from this account and the account shall be debited each month by an account handling charge of F CFA 1 500.

Registration fee of FCFA 3 000 (or its equivalent in any other currency) ACCOUNT OPENING PROCEDURESTo successfully have an account at Community Credit LLC, you shall have to visit any of the Branches of Community Credit LLC in Batibo, Bamenda, Yaounde or Douala. The following account opening procedures shall be followed:
You shall be given all relevant information on account opening.
You shall have to present official identification papers ( National Identity Card and driver's licence for nationals , passport and Residence permit for foreigners)
You shall have to furnish all the required documents pertaining to the account to be opened
You shall have to fill an account opening form after deciding on the nature of the account to be opened.
You shall have to fill and sign a signature card
You shall thereafter be given an account number
You shall have to request for a personal cheque booklet by filling the Request for Cheque booklet Form should you be going in for a current account.
A passbook shall be given to you with your picture(s) affixed to it should you decide to open a savings account or any other account in the savings account category.
You shall have to fill a pay- in -slip clearly stating the amount to be deposited in to the account, the account number and the date of the transaction.
You shall thereafter pay the money into your account and a receipt issued to you
The institution sh all debit your account by the relevant bank charges (registration, cheque booklet, etc.)
